Muththathhi
Muththathhi is an important river destination located at a distance of roughly 100 km from Bangalore. This place is ideal for one day picnic because there will be nothing a lot to
do at Muththathhi apart from to see the beauty of the place.
One can drive down to Muththathhi or take a bus which leads towards Kanakpura. Beware while driving because the road conditions are extremely bad they usually worsen during the monsoon times when
the water is logged in road spots. One needs to carry food from home because you will find no restaurants on the way where proper meals are available. There is no lodging facilities available in
Muththathhi.
You can also visit nearest places from Muththathhi like T Narasipur and Sathanur Dam which are full with waters flowing from the Cauvery river. Revanasiddheshwara Betta, a hill is located
just 20 km from the river and one can also incorporate that in a day's journey.
The best season to visit Muththathhi is between the months of January and December.
