The Bangalore city is also known as Garden city of India. The Bangalore city has many tourist places to see. Right from beautiful gardens to peaceful lake to wonderful palaces, the city presents a wide variety to those who are planning to go on Bangalore sightseeing tours.

The following are list of few places to see in Bangalore city:

Vidhana Soudha: The Vidhana Soudha is most impressive as well as the most wonderful buildings in the Bangalore city of India. It is functioning massive as the Legislature of the Karnataka State.

Cubbon Park: The Cubbon Park is located in the heart of the city. The park was named after Sir Mark Cubbon, the then viceroy of India. The Cubbon Park is spread over an area of about 300 acres.

Attara Kacheri: Attara Kacheri is located just opposite to Vidhana Saudha in Bangalore. Attara Kacheri is a building housing the High Court of Karnataka. It dates back to the year 1867. One of the main attractions of the Attara Kacheri is its Gothic Style of architecture. It is a two-storied building, built in the European classical style.

Bangalore Palace: The palace in Bangalore one of the main attractions of Bangalore. The Bangalore Palace is situated in the heart of the city in Palace Gardens. The palace is built in the year 1887 by Wodeyars, it is decorated with magnificent woodcarvings and Tudor-style architecture on the inside.

Tipu Sultan Fort: The Tipu Sultan Fort was initially built by Kempe Gowda, the founder of Bangalore. The fort was later completed by Tipu Sultan, the Ruler of Mysore. The Tipu Sultan fort is situated near the City Market, the fort dates back to the year 1537.

Halasur Lake: Halasur Lake is situated on the north-eastern border of the city center, near M. G. Road. Spread over an area of approximately 1.5 square kilometers, the Halasur lake of Bangalore is dotted with islands.

Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium: The Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium is located at T. Chowdiah Road in Bangalore city. Established in the year 1989, it is one of the popular tourist attractions of Bangalore. There is a sky theater inside the planetarium, with a huge dome that has a diameter of fifteen meters.
